“ነቲ ብኣበሳኦምን ብርኹስ (ናብራኦምን) ዚስቀይ ዝነበረ ሎጥ ጻድቕ ግና ኣድሓኖ።. . .እቲ ጻድቕ ኣብ ማእከሎም ኪነብር ከሎ፡ በቲ ኣብ ጸጽባሕ ዚርእዮን ዚሰምዖን ዝነበረ ግብሪ ዓመጻኦም፡ እታ ጻድቕ ነፍሱ ትስቀይ ነበረት።” 2ጴጥ 2፡7,8።

Most Biblical writers referred to the term "spirit" as the inner nature of man. St. Mark describes the human Spirit's propensity for readiness saying, "the spirit is indeed willing but the flesh is weak" (Mark 14:38).
“ገሊኡ ኣብ እሾኽ ወደቐ። እቲ እሾኽ ድማ ዐበየ ሐነቖውን።” ማቴ 13፡7
እዚ ዕለት’ዚ ኻልኣይ ሰንበት ናይ ዘመነ ክረምትን፡ ናይ’ቲ “ዘርእ፡ ደመና፡ ጠል” ዝተሰምየ ንኡስ ክፍለ ዘመንን’ዩ። ብኣቈጻጽራ ግእዝ ካብ ሓምለ 3 ኽሳዕ ሓምለ 9 ዘሎ ዕለታት ኣብ መዓልቲ ሰንበት ምስ ዚውዕል፡ ነቲ “ይሰጠዎ ወሰምዖ ጸሎቶ” ዚብል ናይ ቅዱስ ያሬድ መዝሙር ኢና ንዝምር።
እግዚኣብሔር ቅዱስን ብሩኽን በዓለ መስቀል ይግበረልና። ኣሜን ።

Crucifixion was an ancient form of capital punishment. It was degrading, humiliating, and caused agonizing pain. Ultimately the HOLY CROSS symbolized absolute failure and death. Due to its barbaric nature, crucifixion was reserved for the lowliest of criminals: the slaves' death or the murderers' punishment. Today, many still look upon the HOLY CROSS with profound horror as a cruel way to inflict punishment or bring about death.
