"ንስኻትኩምሲ ደቂ ብርሃንን ደቂ መዓልትን ኢኹም። ንሕና (ክርስትያን) ናይ ለይትን ናይ ጸልማትን ኣይኰንናን። እምበኣር ንንቃሕ፡ ገዛእ ርእስና`ውን ንግታእ ደኣ`ምበር፡፡ ከም`ቶም (ዘይክርስትያን) ካልኦት ደቀስቲ ኣይንኹን። . . . ንሕና ግና ደቂ መዓልቲ ስለ ዝዀንና፡ ንእምነትን ፍቕርን ከም ድርዒ ለቢስና፡ ናይ ድሕነት ተስፋ ኸኣ ከም ቍራዕ ርእሲ ደፊእና፡ ገዛእ ርእስና ብምግታእ ንንበር።"1ተሰ 5፡5,6,8 ካ.ት
