H.H. Abune Paulos, patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church passed away early on Thursday August 16,
2012. The cause of his death is not known yet but according to BBC news outlet “the patriarch had suffered from hypertension and diabetes.” Abune Paulos served the Ethiopian Church as patriarch since 1992 and he was 76 years old.
May God rest the soul of Abune Paulos in the paradise of Joy.
