The Second Eritrean Orthodox Youth Conference in the East Coast of USA took place in Radford, VA from 25-27 June 2009 with the goal of ”raising God-fearing generation that are accountable to God and themselves”. In keeping with that premise, young people took part in the Conference,
Within the above general goal, the objective of this conference was to share good Christian expression of meditations and thoughts upon Holy Scripture with one another.
The Youth Conference was enriching and positively applicable to daily life. It recognizes the value of youth community building and the bountiful blessing of knowing the Lord Jesus Christ while yet young in years to have a lifetime to live for Him. The Psalmist proclaims, "For You are my hope, O Lord God, You are my trust from youth" (Ps 71:5).
