What is the importance of baptism and what are its efficacious?

1. Salvation is completed through baptism. (Mark.16: 16).
2. Through baptism we receive the Second Birth (John.3:3).
3. Baptism washes away sins (Acts 22: 16).
4. In baptism there is forgiveness of sins (Acts 2: 37,38).
5. Baptism is dying with the Lord Jesus Christ and rising with Him (Rom.6: 23) and (Col.2: 12).
