4th Annual common liturgy of the Oriental Orthodox churches of Atlanta

In the name of the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit, one God. Amen!“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” Psalms 133:1

On Saturday, December 5th, 2009, the Oriental Orthodox churches of Atlanta conducted their 4th common liturgy. It was held at the St. Thomas Indian Orthodox Church located in Lilburn, Ga. The liturgy was a blessing for all who participated and beyond.The Oriental Churches consist of six communions: the Church of Armenia, the Church of Antioch (Syriac), the Church of Alexandria (Coptic), The Church of Ethiopia (Tewahedo Church), the Church of Eritrea (Tewahedo Church), and the Church of India. They are up held by three Ecumenical Councils of the Orthodox Church: the councils of Nicea I, Constantinople I and Ephesus. These churches reject the dogmatic definitions of the Council of Chalcedon.We would like to give our gratitude to those who made possible and the congregation of the Indian orthodox for their hospitality. Glory be to God both now ever and unto the ages of ages!

ብምኽንያት ዕረፍቲ መምህር ቅኔ የነታ እዝራ ዝወጸ መግለጺ ሓዘን
