We are the "Diocese of Eritrean Orthodox Church in North America", dedicated to using every viable means to proclaim God's good news to the people.
As the Psalmist said one day "for zeal for your house consumes me" (Psalm 69.9)or "Kinate betke belani" in Geez, our desire is to work in the field of God and serve the Lord according to the rules and norms of our Orthodox Tewahdo Church.
The technology of this century such as TV, radio, video and audio and high-speed internet, to name a few-has offered God's people more opportunities to preach and publish than in any previous age of history. We are using this opportunities for God's glory.
Our motto is "The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding it [the house of God],"(Neh 2:20). "To God be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." (Ephesians 3: 21). |

Our mission is "Go, then, to all the world and make disciples of all Nations: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey every thing that I have commanded you"(Matt 28.20), so that all people may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
It is also to encourage and edify one another with the words of God and call for all people living at a distance from God to turn their ways and live a meaningful life here on earth and inherit eternal life in heaven.
In short, our mission is:
To preach, in accordance with God’s will, the fullness of the gospel of the Kingdom of God to peoples in the holy tradition of the Orthodox Tewahdo Church.
To utilize for the Church mission the various languages of the peoples of this world for the Church mission.
To be the body of Christ and to be faithful to the tradition of the Eritrean Holy Orthodox church.
To witness to the truth, and by God’s grace and in the power of the Holy Spirit,
To reveal Christ’s way of sanctification and eternal salvation to our people and to all others as well. "To God be the glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." Ephesians 3: 21.
