May peace and joy
that comes from God be yours in full measure.
We have just returned from Atlanta, GA for our
fourth annual conference, on August 4, 2002.
We concluded our conference under the theme:
"Repent and return,
so that your sins may be wiped away, in order
that times of refreshing may come from the presence
of the Lord..."(Acts
3:19-20).
It was the kind of experience that you simply
had to be there to know how the spirit of the
Lord had its way in our midst. May glory be
to our God who blessed us in such a successful
conference; it was really a blessing to see
many people young and adult altogether worshiping
and praising God.
The Lord has done great
things for us, and we are filled with joy.
Psalm 126.3. We praise God for the wonderful
things He has done for us.
We would like to thank the Atlanta Church along
with its congregation for making our conference
a successful one. They are to be commended for
the wonderful way they worked to make conference
2002 a reality. We also would like to thank
our youth group, our fathers bishops Intonios
and Dioscoros from Eritrea, and all the priests.
Several other people must also be thanked for
the labor of love they devoted to their specific
areas for taking so much of the load off of
us in keeping the program of the conference
running smoothly. We want to thank you all of
the delegates who came to Atlanta, rendered
to us a "debt free" conference and
allowed the Lord to use you to his glory. We
thank God for each and every one of you.
Now that the conference is over and we all are
reaching to catch our breath, the question becomes
what does God has next for us to do. we want
to see continue our mission to help grow our
church and make a difference in the life of
our people.
We proclaim to you what
we have seen and heard, so that you also may
have fellowship with us. And our fellowship
is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
We write this to make our joy complete.
1 John 1.3-4.
May God bless you
all.
