A PRAYER FOR MOTHERS

Posted by: Efrem Mebrahtu.
My beloved brothers and sisters;
Wherever you are: In the US, back home in our beloved
Eritrea, in Europe, Africa, Australia....
Peace be to you!
You remember how terrified, hopeless and confused the
disciples were at that specific moment.
I think that everything was dark for them at that
moment:
- Their master was dead,
- They betrayed the one that they had followed for 3+ years
(basically leaving everything behind),
- the same society/crowd who were shouting
"Hosanna" just days ago, shouted with the same may be even with
more vigor, "Crucify Him"
- worse they were really confused of what to do
next....
It was at this BAD time that THE RISEN LORD said,
"PEACE be to YOU!"
Are we not in many senses in the same circumstances?
That's how I feel when I think about;
- My PEOPLE.
- My CHURCH,
- My friends
- For some of us (our study, our job, our
children, our health, our health, our brothers, our
sisters ...).
- My country,
- Our zone, (our neighbors)
- Our world....
Beloved sister/brother:
Though the challenges are big and the situations are
gloomy in many aspects....
BUT THE RISEN LORD IS ALIVE TODAY!
Actually NOW!
Hence,
Peace be to you, my beloved sister!
and Peace be to you, my beloved brother!
After all the same LORD is with you at this moment,
and I hope yours eyes would open to see Him, and your
ears would open to listen Him, as He says:
" Peace be to you, my beloved! "
Yours in His Peace!

" Kiristos tensA e'mutan, mote, wekiedo....lemot,
le'eLe wiste mekabr we'Habe Hywete".
" Christ is risen from the dead, And through His death He has conquered Death,
and has given life to those who were in tombs."
I am sure He said:
"Peace to you!"
even to the dead who were in the tombs".
Why not for you TODAY!
Why not for your dead hopes, dead dreams, dead
expectations...
I am sure, He is saying,
"Peace be to You!"
"Peace be to You!!"
"PEACE TO YOU!!! "

Good and Gentle God, we pray in gratitude for our mothers and for all the women of theory who have joined with you in the wonder of bringing forth new life. You who became human through a woman, grant to all mothers the courage they need to face the uncertain future that life with children always brings.

a.. Give them the strength to live and to be loved in return, not perfectly, but humanly.

b.. Give them the faithful support of husband, family and friends as they care for the physical and spiritual growth of their children.

c.. Give them joy and delight in their children to sustain them through the trials of motherhood.

d.. Most of all, give them the wisdom to turn to you for help when they need it most. Amen.

Happy Mothers Day!!

LOVE begins with a smile J

May the grace of God be with you in everything you do.

Weakness Becomes Strong

He lies in the manger, but contains the world; he nurses at the breasts, but feeds the angels; he is wrapped in swaddling clothes, but vests us with immortality; he found no place in the inn, but makes for himself a temple in the hearts of believers.
In order that weakness might become strong, strength became weak.
Prayer. My faith prays to you, Lord, the faith you gave me, and inspired in me by the Incarnation of your Son and the mission of your preacher.

The Church of Faith

Mary gave birth to your head and the Church gave birth to you.
The Church too is a mother and a virgin--mother because she is made of love, virgin because of the integrity of her faith.
Prayer. May I seek you, Lord, by praying to you, and let me pray to you by believing in you.
